We are in preparation phase for our trip this summer. Plane tickets are purchased and destination is San Juan. Keep us in your prayers as we prepare and for all the details.

Tonight!!!

Tonight was amazing! We had a great service and a message about the cross. Our students responded in their own ways. Afterwards we had our group time and I gave the students the opportunity say something in front of everyone. Zach Hughes was the first one... Which seems to be common this week. Then all the 8th grade boys... And again. I realized this group of kids have a lot to say.

I can't express how much my leaders poured their hearts into our kids. They had amazing converstations and quality time. Ask about them when your kid gets home.

Heading home tomorrow thankful for God's faithfulness!

Everyone is feeling really tired today! It was hard getting out of bed. The goodnews is it's a beautiful day. The sun is out with a cool breeze. Should be a good time at the pool. Speaking of the pool, Josh green hit his shoulder on the diving board. Nothing too serious but was a close call. I was about to pull out my life guard abilities. No discipline issues which is nice compared to last year. There's anticipation for tonight service, keep it in your prayers.

What a day!

Water tubing was fun this afternoon... Lexie Hughes was thrown about 5 ft in the air! Tomorrow more of the boys get to go... I think the 6th graders will love it.

Each night I feel god is doing something special... Tonight we took communion as a group. Afterwards the kids grouped up togethor with their small groups and prayed. It was so cool to see them huddled togethor praying for each other without being asked. There have been so many glimpses of our students getting it... I credit it to god and wonderful parenting.

So many stories yet not enough patience to type on my phone :)... Good night everyone I get to sleep in a room full boys who like to fart!

Special honor

Today I was honored with youth pastor of the day! Our students sent in 40+ letters and notes. They had me on stage and ofcourse I danced. It's was a special moment.

I'm hearing great reports from the family groups. I know the girls have really opened up to Ru, Kelly and Kathy. I have the best leaders around.

I will be updating more now that I can do it on my phone. Also the kids enjoyed getting your emails.
